The first red flag was any indication that people saying they wanted a live-action Cowboy Bebop.
Which is false. Ever since Avatar TLA's go, I think it's safe to say nobody wanted a live action anything… Ever.

This is opposed to things that get produced without Netflix's input, which don't make it into the new release or exclusives reel, which is why Arcane didn't break the top 10 in the US and had to rely on daddy Rito for the entirety of its marketing.
