To the Stonecrest neighborhood: On Monday, May 23rd, 2022, about 5:30am, I was looking out my office window (a bedroom on the second floor), when I saw an older model white Ford Escape. One woman got out and stole some glass bottles from a recycling container. I had just awoken and I was still in my pajamas, with hair unbrushed and face unwashed. I grabbed my phone, flew out the front door and I crossed the street. I confronted the two women, growling ferociously, "Get out! Get out! We do not want you in this neighborhood!" They looked quite surprised and left in a hurry. I did not have time to unlock my phone and take pictures, but I held my phone up and began tapping, so at least they thought that I was taking photographs. I believe that the license plate was from Oregon. The vehicle was loaded with glass that they had stolen all night long. I do not want people like that in my neighborhood. We can stop this behaviour, and especially people like that from visiting us, if we, collectively, do not put our glass recycles out until we go to work on Monday morning. I do not put out my garbage at all on Sunday evening, but if you wish to do so, fine, just leave the glass for Monday morning. If you would like to join a neighborhood communication list, please send to me your contact information; a name, your house number, a phone number and an email. Of course, if you do not wish to be on a list, simply disregard this. I will compile that list and send it out to all who participated. We are: 3 com 1
