He's put multiple guests on his show in danger to make their problems look as worse as possible for TV ratings.

Read up on what happened with Todd Herzog. The showrunners put him in a room filled with alcohol to tempt him into relapsing before he was brought on stage. They've also followed a pregnant girl into town and filmed her purchasing hard drugs off of dealers and use them without even attempting to stop her, despite the fact that both she and the baby were in very real danger of overdosing.

Anyone who wants to genuinely help people wouldn't do shit like this.
