That Berry Punch thing was deliberate. One of the animators or such said that they love drunk Berry Punch, and lo and behold, Berry Punch in the cider episode.

Actually, I think it was Sibsy who originally saw Berry as a drunk and intentionally put her punch-bowl scene in 'Call of the Cutie.' Someone else was likely just continuing the joke in this episode.

The Doctor Whooves thing, though, is a completely new acknowledgement which is awesome!
