Who knew whether you wear or don't wear a head garment should not be something dictated by the state

I saw a comment on Reddit that actually got me to pause for a bit. Conventionally people say "well the ones in the US are choosing to wear it as an expression of their identity, so it's different" or something to that effect.

But this guy pointed out that it's akin to the Confederate flag. Most would decry it as a symbol of oppression, and someone who chooses to fly it as a symbol of Southern pride or whatever wouldn't get a pass just because of how they personally view it.
