You do realize the goals of both parties are mutual exclusive with one another right? That Putin's goals are to annex part or the whole of Ukraine and obstruct it from seeking its own security guarantees right? I legit don't know how you can think Elon's suggestions were in any way realistic or that there is a "compromise" that can be achieved. Especially when attempts at compromise were put forward by Ukraine months ago and completely ignored by the maximalist demands of Russia.
