However, we are remaining civil and are still a team for our son. After hours of tears, mental exhaustion, and even disassociation, I have come to this decision. Admittedly I waited pretty close to the Oct 11th deadline to mail in my registration, however I know for sure I dropped the letter into my apartment's drop-off box on Oct 9th and after calling the Davidson county voter registration line they told me that my envelope was postmarked on Oct 12th, 3 days after I dropped it off, making me ineligible to vote in the upcoming election.
