Jesus - jesus and drag gueen

im sure the comments on this post will be extremely nice and civil

From my limited understanding of the New Testament, Jesus preached to his countrymen about simpler principles like mutual love, respect, selfless help, forgiveness and the like, instead of acting only like the ancient texts said (which the old men in power used and abused to solidify their influence). He went against the old ways and the traditions, trusting more in his fellow man than in arbitrary rules written so long ago. Sounds familiar, huh ?

If Jesus was born today, I feel like he WOULD act like this comic, because he'd understand that the current system is unjust towards certain people. He'd especially condemn those using their religion as an excuse to be shitty towards other people.
