1608 – The Jesuit order bans anyone from becoming a member if they can not prove at least five generations of Jew-free family history.

1609 – Jews expelled from London.

1612 – Portuguese traders try to kick Jewish merchants out of West African markets after accusations of bribery. Confined to a Ghetto in the Italian city of Casale.

1614 – Jews expulsed from Frankfurt (after a mob destroys the Jewish neighborhood) and Baden.

1615 – Jews expelled from France (they were given one month to do so with the penalty being death) and Worms.

1618 – Jews expulsed from miscellaneous towns in Moravia.Various anti-Jewish riots in Poland after anti-semitic propaganda becomes popular.

1619 – Jews expelled from Kiev.

This is just a few findings after a casual look on Google. "1612" is hardly a smoking gun for modern anti-semites.

Wow, 1612? Jews were massacred that year?

Then it must have been a year that started with a number. I'm pretty sure you can pick ANY year in Medieval through early modern times and find something bad that happened to Jews that year.
