Electronic Gaming Monthly's review(s) of Final Fantasy III (VI) on the SNES.

From the high review scores, it should be apparent that by the late 4th generation, Western publications were handing out plenty of praise for JRPG's, especially from Square. Game Informer gave FFIII/VI a score of 9.5/10, the highest score of any non-Nintendo game on the SNES. And in EGM, other SNES-era JRPG's with high reviews included Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy II (IV), Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, and Super Mario RPG.
