Honestly, even though I'm sad we're never getting major updates again, Tf2 has ever content it needed.
TF2 has 11 modes, over 100 offiical maps, a PVE mode, multiple weapons and cosmetics.

Unlike overwatch, TF2 was built off the 9 classes it has. So Valve doesn't need to add a new one ever 3 months.
