I genuinely believe 999 out of 1000 "polyamorous relationships" are functionally just excuses to engage in mindless hedonism while pointedly repressing any inkling of shame, and the 1 in 1000 is probably just minding their own business and not making cringe infographics coping about how heckin valid they are, so that checks out.
