I understand the Joke, but the thing is that most of the "Korok torture" is about abusing game mechanics to do something as relativelty goofy as using crucifixion in cartoon characters and the way they react in-universe is with an "oops".
Femto's torturing is shown as him abandoning his humanity and the first thing he does after becoming Femto is a despicable act of rape and torture out of spite and sadism to two of the few people he had a close relationship with.
