Crafted by a master enchanter, they are said to harness the power of the sun itself. Properties: Range: 300 feet • Type: Thrown (Dexterity) • Ensnaring: When you successfully hit an enemy with the Bolas of Solar Restraint, the target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 19) or become ensnared. On a failed save, the target's movement speed becomes 0, and it cannot willingly move from its current location. It can attempt to break free from the ensnarement by using its action to make a Strength check (DC 24), ending the effect on a success. Sunlight Precision: The Bolas of Solar Restraint benefit from the radiant energy of the sun. When the wielder and the target are both in direct sunlight, the bolas never miss their mark. This means attacks made with the bolas automatically hit, bypassing normal attack rolls, as long as both the wielder and the target are bathed in sunlight. • Radiant Resonance: Once the Bolas of Solar Restraint ensnare an enemy, they begin to emit a radiant glow. They cast bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. This light is visible even through cover or darkness. • Recall Command: The wielder of the bolas can call them back to their hand by speaking a command word. The bolas return instantly, and the ensnared enemy's movement is restored. Attunement: To attune to the Bolas of Solar Restraint, a creature must spend a short rest in direct sunlight, meditating on the weapon's radiant energy. Once attuned, the bolas can be wielded and its magical properties utilized.
