r/AITAH u/ReaperPrincessXx • 20h AITAH for telling a woman at the park No. I recently picked up the hobby of crocheting. I've been going to the park to Crochet because it's starting to feel nice out. Everyday that I've been there I've seen this woman & her daughter, who I'm assuming is around 9 or 10 years old. On their walk the little girl stops to see how far along I've gotten in the scarf that I've been working on. She's says it's pretty and keeps walking. Well today, they stop and the little girl says "I wish I could have a scarf." I ask her what colors she would like and I will gladly make her one. She just so happens to want one in the colors I am using and says "I want this one" talking about the one I'm working on. Unfortunately for her I've been working on this scarf for someone important to me, I tell her "sorry hun, this one is for someone else, I can't start making you one tomorrow" her mom says "that's okay, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you give it to a child" I look at her and say "I'll make her one, this one is for someone else." She grabs her daughter by the arm and pulls her away from me and says "we don't need anything from you b****." And walked away. Should I have just let the kid have the scarf or does her mother lack manners?

Bo 1h. My daughters father has a new girlfriend and a new job he's doing really well, he always gives me money. He even helps with my other kids who aren't his. But since his new girlfriend came into the picture he still gives me money, and takes his daughter every weekend, BUT he brings the gf. I don't like her and I told him to break up with her. He won't so now he's going on child support. What's a reasonable amount to ask the court? I'm a stay at home mom and would like to stay a stay at home mom. Also my current boyfriend is a stay at home dad and we need the support since we aren't working.

I see now that was a mistake.
I hope this isn't against the rules, but my feelings have been a little hurt. A mother posted on my local group asking for assistance because she's 9 months pregnant and didn't have anything for the baby, so I did what crocheters do best, I made a matching hat, mitten, and boot set for her, and was starting on a blanket for her. I didn't expect anything in return for it, I just did it because I wanted to. When I pmed her to show her she replys with "that's sweet but no thank you, I'm looking for real clothes and baby items" I don't have money to buy expensive items so I'm feeling a little hurt that my hard work wasn't considered "real baby items". I hope I didn't break any rules..pic of the hat just to show it.
