Or… the two shows have completely different styles, target audiences, and senses of humor.

I've never heard someone call Family Guy 'the greatest show ever made,' but I would hardly call it's fans retarded.

Not to mention, I've seen a few MLP/Family Guy crossovers so obviously people can actually enjoy both shows in their own ways.

At the end of the day, this is just one big 'stop-liking-what-I-don't-like' rant which is pretty much the fastest way to make yourself look like a jackass.

(By the way, this is coming from someone who doesn't even like Family Guy all that much. I just get tired of these kinds of statements.)
