Well, John De Lancie (sp?) directly confirmed that he did another recording for MLP and I can't see his voice coming ot of any character other than Discord, so there's a pretty good shot he'll be back.

New villain is all but guaranteed.

Derpy & death: No way in hell.

I would love to see Gilda and/or Trixie return and I know hints have been dropped about Trixie, so these are possible, though maybe not too likely.

GOD-DAMN IT, YES!
I'm honestly surprised it ddn't happen in season two so I can't see any reasonable way she can be overlooked again.
