We got Cats And Dogs romance angst before GTA6. Think about that.

Catherine could only loathe herself. She was a cat and Diggs was a dog. Them being field partners or friends was one thing, but what she was feeling went against the natural order. Diggs would irritate her by being a doofus sometimes, yet she could not help but fall for him for being charmastic, funny, and kind. She hoped her feelings would eventually fade away, but they did not. She knew she cannot just tell him her feelings. Of course he would never be interested in her in that way, but it did not hurt her any less.
