Notes:

Type 1 is when a filler interrupts an ongoing arc at a bad time. This can include a poorly-placed omake or a series of fillers initiated by a flashback that dovetails from the main storyline and refuses. Essentially, this is when the show has ADD.

Type 2 is when all interesting arcs are over with and you are left with nothing but filler.

If you are seeking to avoid the eighty-five episodes of endless fillers, otherwise known as the "Evil 85", stop after episode 135, then jump to episode 220 and ignore everything that involves the Sand Shinobi.
