Like I don't see why this is that big of a deal. BP does have command centers that look pretty much just like that, and they do actually make helicopter fly bys every day. I think they were making an effort to portray what's actually happening in the most succinct manner possible. It could be that they had sensitive information on their monitors in the command center or that it's hard to get good photos in a helicopter There's any number of legit reasons they would want to photoshop those pics.
