@WhipperSnapper: People have bene almost universally praising the animation quality. The writing has been heavily criticized for being crap, though, and the voice acting is apparently lower quality than what most people have come to expect from high-profile fan projects. Not so much because the actors are bad per say, but that their impressions of the characters are not very good.

Being fan made has never stopped something from being good, and it has never prevented something from being bad. It is an arbitrary detail for me when judging something on its own merits, and it should not weight the scale one way or another.
