In the mock-history of this hypothetical Italian version of Dr.Who it was postulated that the props for the alien cyborgs were put together by Mario Bava himself using pieces from Moka coffee brewers, hence the punnish name 'Bialek' (in Italy the most popular brand of Moka brewers is 'Bialetti'), and the Bialeks' obsessive warcry: "E-va-po-rate! E-va-po-rate!!"

Another hypothetical advert for an episode of the imaginary Italian version of Dr.Who. This image would stem from Jerry Cala's tenure on the show (1981-1986) which was imagined as one of the longest and by far the most popular, having been adapted and exported to far-off markets like Latin America and Australia. The episode would see the Doctor embroiled in the historical 'Challenge of Barletta' an episode of the Renaissance Italian Wars where 12 Italian men-at-arms challenged (and defeated) an equal number of French knights in 1503.
