But when DOTA 2 fans expected news about their own Diretide" event which promised much of the same thing, they were twisting in the wind, and still dont understand how Valve simply ignored going forward in DOTA 2. It would be weird enough if they just didn't past patches there were unused Halloween-themed month. But the 31st came and went, and there has been official word about what exactly happened to Diretide. It simply failed t happen, like Santa Claus staying in to watch Elf instead out of going DOTA 2 users then had the brilliant idea since the forgotten Diretide has dropped the game's user score about just that Valve cancelled Halloween, it's that they didn't even bother telling their entire fanbase, and still haven't days later. They even had a new patch microtransactions without addressing Diretide at all. With endless forums and the client itself at their disposal, it seems disrespectful to simply ignore concerns of your community, however petty they may seem. maybe DOTA players don't necessarily "deserve" a Halloween even where pieces of themed-content (most players actually didn't year's event), but don't promise it to them and then take it Grim Thoughts we're proud to hear thatway without saying a word. Legends. But one lesson they could learn from the League team is about how to communicate with their fanbase. Take both game's reddit OLVOGIVE forum without a Riot games member making their own post and giving t community new information or asking them questions.
