Derpface Those same Pokémon looking less threatening in gen 3 sprites Newer sprites look like complete jokes Pokémon have generic stances "angry dinosaur lunging at you" has been replaced with "cute barney ready to be caught". It's sad "I have no personality or emotions < What is Megaman doing in Pokémon? GameFreak suddenly were afraid to use their creativity and went for generic poses, for some reason. Overdesigned non-sensical pieces of s--- NATURES Although a nice concept nobody gives 2 s---- about the personality of its newly caught Pokémon (It's all just data eh, smogonfags?) < We want the MLP audience! Hydreigon looks like a Yu-Gi-Oh monster How is Haxorus (what a s----- name) a Dragon? It doesnt have wings So the whole purpose of natures has been thrown in the garbage. Now you have a feature a useless feature that only makes catching Pokémon a more tedious chore. Modest Tauros? Oh no! Adamant Alakazam? Oh no! What's even worse is if a Pokémon can have 2 abilities. Not only do you need to manage to have the right Nature but also the Ability that you want >B-But Gyarados, Rhyhorn and stuff r overdazigned 2 No. Gyarados is a chinese Dragon, that's how they look In generation 1 and 2, you dont have to worry about that s--- because Natures and Abilities dont exist Only things you have to worry about is movepool Rhyhorn's spiked and rough edges are to protect it from predators, it serves a purpose EVs? You can max all the stats of your Pokémon even when they are level 100 (by using the box withdraw technique) IVs? There is only a 0-15 range instead of 0-30, so again, it's easier Now look at Garchomp. What purpose does the star on its head give? What is the purpose of the yellow scribbles on Emboar's body? They don't serve a purpose. They simply drew them because they could. There was no thought put behind it. And that's makes something overdesigned Conclusion: while you are busy looking for the right natures and abilities, l'm already battling because I don't have to worry about those things

Oh here we go, OP bringing MLP into his argument in a thinly veiled attempt to garner some sympathy and agreement from the MLP-hating crowd.

And by the way, Keldeo is (considering the name and backstory) most likely based upon a piece of celtic folklore about a mystical water horse called the Kelpie. Pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with MLP. Your argument is double wrong.
