Well, it’s confirmed. Flash Sentry is officially the fandom’s Anti-Derpy.

Just as how Derpy’s mere presence draws praise and induces fangasms over even a mediocre episode, Flash, by that same token, seems to spread drama, chaos, and irrevocably taint whatever he appears in.

Speaking as someone who occasionally pulls a muscle from how hard I try to pretend EQG never happened, I honestly wasn’t bothered by him at all.

I remember them saying that there would be some subtle references to EQG throughout S4, and that’s what Flash was. He was a background prop. An easter egg for those who’ve seen the movie. Nothing more.

As a side note, I don't particularly like him, but I've seen exponentially more drama and hate dumped on him than over Jar-Jar Binks, and aside from EQG, Flash hasn't even done anything. When they start dedicating whole episodes to him, and try to officially ship him with main characters on the actual show, then it's time to break out the DoomPaul images.
