At this point I even thought up a storyline for this nonsense -

In the year 20XX AD, a mysterious man named Dio Brando appears from another universe. With the forced assistance of that idiot Dr. Wily this mysterious man seeks to host a grand fighting tournament across the dimensions. Already about sixteen participants have reached the top rankings and soon the battles become more heated threatening to lead several worlds to ruin in the escalating chaos. It falls upon the Super Fighting Robot Mega Man to defy this Dio and put an end to this madness before it is too late…
I'm thinking it would go like in Mega Man 3 whereass after the first eight shown here you have to replay four of the levels (The Goku, Satsuki, Sora and Alucard levels specifically) and fight two new oppents in each, then during the Wily Stages you would randomly encounter any eight out of the sixteen bosses over the course of the first four Wily Stages (like two per level).

GHOST MAN
WEAPON GET; Black Reaper – when used on the ground it creates a wave of black energy shaped like a sword slash that travels along the ground and up walls, used in the air it is merely a melee sword weapon attack.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Perfect Slash, Moonlight Dance

PURITY WOMAN
WEAPON GET; Perfect Slash – a weaponized dash move that utilizes a sword like weapon to cut, it renders the user invincible during use and is also usable in the air allowing the user to fly foward in short quick bursts.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Friendship Wish, Golden Laser
STAGE; Militarized Highschool
STAGE MUSIC; Before my Body is Dry

NOVA MAN
WEAPON GET; Golden Laser – a gathering of solar energy that is fired from the hand in a powerful armor piercing wave beam.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Space Crystal, Meteor Call
STAGE; Giant Easter Dragons flying throughout a Metropolis City
STAGE MUSIC; Rock the Dragon

WITCH WOMAN
WEAPON GET; Moonlight Dance – a barrier of magical moon energy that envelopes the user renduring them invincible for a few seconds.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Vampiric Bullet, Meteor Call
STAGE; Magical Candy Palace
STAGE MUSIC; Moonlight Denstsu

DISNEY MAN
WEAPON GET; Friendship Wish – an ability to summon a randomly chosen being from another world to act as an enemy seeking familiar that will home in on a nearby target to deal a single hit, only one being can be on the screen at a time, each familiar has different behaviors based on movement.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Space Crystal, Vampiric Bullet
STAGE; Tropical Island Paradise
STAGE MUSIC; Hikari Kingdom

(If this were implemented in a Mega Man rom hack, the Friendship Wish weapon could literally be character sprites from Disney Capcom NES games just for that added dose of meta.)

MASS WOMAN
WEAPON GET; Space Crystal – a platform made of alien crystal matierial that can be used as a stable platform, only two of these can be on screen at once, any enemies that come into contact with these crystal platforms are damaged.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Moonlight Dance, Perfect Slash

BLOOD MAN
WEAPON GET; VAMPIRIC BULLET – a literal demonic gunshot that can be fired in one of eight directions, if it hits an enemy unit the user is given a small health restoring pellet.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Golden Laser, Meteor Call
STAGE; Haunted Cathedral Castle
STAGE MUSIC; A World Without Logos

ANGEL MAN
WEAPON GET; Meteor Call – a giant burning energy burst that shoots straight down at the space just a few pixels in front of the user, can go through the floor and deals armor piercing damage.
RECOMMENDED WEAKNESS; Black Reaper, Perfect Slash
STAGE; Forbidden Bioweapon Developement Lab
