Personally I'd also add The Amazing World of Gumball, Phineas and Ferb, TMNT 2012 (though I admit I'm behind on it), Korra (same deal… summer's coming up soon, I'll catch up then), Clarence, and… the cartoon about the multicolored equines that I won't speak the name of directly so the less level headed non-fans can't Ctrl+F to this post and go "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE!"

Really every generation has it's gems and it's crap. Oh and for the person asking about action cartoons, action shows getting cancelled early is nothing new. SWAT Kats anyone? Pirates of Dark Water? And I'm pretty sure Megas XLR was cancelled sooner than the creators originally intended.

MLP Fans: "Boy, this show sure is good! Ain't it great that we didn't judge this show on its outward appearance, and are genuinely enjoying it despite the fact that it's a 'girl's show'?"
