Thin privilege is being able to enjoy the ocean I was on vacation in Hawaii with my husband and two sons. It was great to get out of the Ohio cold and enjoy white sand beaches and brilliant blue oceans. Our hotel informed us of a whale watching tour that we might enjoy. I thought this would be a great way to end a great family trip. When we got to the boat that did the tour, everyone was made to wear a life jacket. They didn't have any in my size so I wasn't allowed onto the boat. I told my boys to go on with out me while dad stayed with me to keep me sane. The boys couldn't stop talking about how amazing t was. Until they make life vests in reasonable sizes, I won't ever know.
