thattallsummonerqu erlynntheemerald: So I'm sure you recognize this as one of the epic moments from The Prince of Egypt where we see the super majestic whale as they cross through the Red Sea. However I noticed just one little issue: whale tales don't move from side to side, they move up and down. And then it hit me, that's not a whale. That's not a whale It's a m------------ SHARK. A BIG ASS MEGALODONIAN SHARK WAITING IN THE WATER TO EAT THE PHARAOH'S SOLDIERS. Goddamn, Dreamworks Hey not to rain on your parade or anything but I don't think that would be the case. You are correct about that being a shark, but that is most likely not a Megalodon If you look that the silhouette it doesn't really scream predatory animal, it's dorsal fin is far back and it's head shape is kinda flat. Megalodon is commonly believed to similar in build to it's modern day cousin, the great white(cousin being speculitive because it is still being debated by scientists) but here is an image for comparison... to the gif above Also there is one more issue with the whole megalodon idea, the Shark would've been extinct by the time of the Pharaohs To me it looks more like this big lug.... The gentle giant known as the whale shark, and guess where these guy can be foun... Rhincodon typus Whale shark You guessed it, the warm oceans of the world including the Red Sea Just saying. I think it was just more of an image to captivate the onlookers more than anything thing else.
