Smogonsword is f*cking invincible.

I know everyone is saying that Mega Lopunny will be a great Aegislash counter… but is that really the case?

Yeah, it can hit that ghost for a super effective hit, but Aegislash is reasonably defensive, and probably won't be OHKOed. And then it hits back with a Sacred Sword, and probably OHKOs Lopunny.

And lest we forget, it has King's Shield, which will absolutely cripple Lopunny.

I'm not saying that Lopunny might not be USEFUL against Aegislash, but I don't think it'll be a full-on counter.
