Fun fact: This is what Salvador Dali did for inspiration. He'd sit in a chair with a spoon in his hand when he was tired, and as he slowly drifted off, he'd drop the spoon. The loud clink it made woke him up, and he'd paint what came to mind in his half-asleep state.
