(3/3) Gamergate has had discussions on how to best deal with this situation. Gamers are trying to recover from baseless attacks proven false and reeling in ad-hominem attacks on people who don’t deserve it. Gamers are giving real support to harassment victims of all sexes and race by granting them a supportive and respectful community. Gamers are looking out for each other to make sure no one has to suffer from abuse from around the world for a choice that hurts literally no one, and in fact supports a thriving community. You say Gamergate is the embodiment of everything wrong with video game culture. I say it’s everything right about it.

Now it’s your turn. If you can’t practice what you preach, you might want to keep that shit to yourself. If you hate the harassment and hate speech so much, then you might want to fucking deal with it.

And I have the best remedy for stopping those big mean harassers and internet bad guys from hurting your feelings so much.

(1/3) I'm sorry, I need to call bullshit on the top bit because it's just so rank.

You think you're "socially progressive"? Well I can see how you came to that deluded conclusion with all your shitposting about insufficient and unsatisfactory minority representation which is on full blast weekly by every moron under the sun. But you're wrong.

I don't even have to try to find article after topic after clickbait about the failings of video game representation, but you know what I can't find very easily?

Gratitude. Promotion. Celebration. Models. Goals. Recommendations. Discussions.

For all your grand standing about being "socially progressive" how much progress have you made, hmm? Have any writers thanked you for opening their eyes in their credits? Do you have any metrics showing an increase in fair minority representation? Can you show me what you've actually fucking done in video games that have moved us from point A to point B? Have you interviewed any oppressed groups recently to see how much they are grateful for your services?
