Kojima stars opposite Hanazawa Kana in the upcoming season of Tonari no Seki-kun With Hideo Kojima's name taken off the latest Metal Gear Solid game, many have speculated that he will be leaving Konami. Earlier this week, the 51-year-old video game producer officially confirmed these rumors to reporters Konami is great and all, but I've set my sets higher. Ever since I was a child I've always wanted to become a seiyuu (voice actor). I could be up there with the greats like Mari lijima, Fumi Hirano, or dare I say Tiffany Grant Konami has a new deal with EA Games to make the next seven Metal Gear games. I'm sure the franchise will be left in very good hands," Kojima continued.

Umm… That article also said that he’d be replacing some Kana Ueda as some Toshaka Rin’s voice actor… And apparently that character is a girl. It also said that he’d be voicing entire cast of next season of some Cross Ange.
