Not gonna lie, aside from the increased difficulty this actually sounds pretty terrible.

The increased difficulty, and maybe the improved storyline, are the only things in this whole thing I'm OK with. Mainly because the difficulty and plot of the original games were very often complained about.

The rest sounds awful. As in, very awful. Why call Moon Stones Evo Stones if you have other evo stones too, like the Leaf Stone or Thunder Stone. I also find it garbage how he thinks Pancham's evolutions is gimmicky. You only need a Dark type in your team, that's a whole lot more diverse than evolving Mantyke.

Lastly, we need potions and poké balls now for mega evolution? To me, that sounds very unspecial. Wasn't mega evolution supposed to be a very special thing in-universe?
