Good thing I'm not the only one who does that. I always always put in the disclaimer that I don't know shit about the subject (and when I don't I know I don't) so that if it goes wrong when they take my advice I can say I warned them I don't know shit about the subject. Mainly with romance. I have this one friend who never-endingly texts me about this one asshole she's dating and what she should do and I've never had a romantic partner in my life and never want to but I give advice any way with this disclaimer. It's actually never failed though. I guess I know more than I think I do.
