They can reuse character archetypes, but Inigo and Lazward, Owain and Odin, Severa and Luna, and Ricken and Tsukuyomi even have the same design. And it's more obvious because, so far, all of the expies in FEif come from Awakening, the most recent and the most well-known one, as well as the most base-breaking. They have an entire series to base characters on, or create new ones, and yet they decided to literally copy-paste the ones from Awakening. To many people, this feels like lazy design.
