Hideo Kojima - They had it coming.

Where have you been?

Konami has attracted immense flak.

Their business model of mainly mobile games doesn't really work.

They've put themselves into a possible legal bind by removing Kojima's name from MGS.

Silent Hills was canceled, despite being hugely anticipated and probably more than halfway done.

They removed themselves from the stock exchange because they were dropping in profitability.

They don't have any of their star power left, they fired or repelled any and all of their huge money makers (Kojima, Koji, etc)

They haven't released a memorable game in years, they've mainly been bad selling/badly recieved/unmemorable games like SPORTSBALL, or YuGiOh.
