On July 29th 2014 some /x/eno was listening to 8 992 kHz, a frequency used by the US Air Force. Right after an ordinary emergency action message, a powerful SSTV signal is heard and decoded by another anon. The caption is “liar” in Latin, French, English, German, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi and Hebrew. Considering how clear and powerful the signal was, the pirate (who remains unknown to this day) either used an extremely powerful gear or hacked into a station (no need to mention the fact that he’s probably been arrested).
