About
Me Tryna Hit refers to a series of TikToks and screenshot re-edits based off of the punchline, "Me tryna hit:", with the, "Me," character of the meme crying in ironic sympathy towards a sexual partner's otherwise unmoving plight. The sounds and visuals used for the TikToks borrows from the Crying Tyrese Youtube video. The format gained popularity on TikTok and Instagram in late July, 2021, mostly borrowing from the audio of TikToker @devinsimms's version of the video.
