A Courting Song | Songs of the Series | Over The Garden Wall | Cartoon Network

Notes

Published on Oct 29, 2014

Over The Garden Wall is a 5 night mystery adventure starting Monday, November 3, at 7/6c from Cartoon Network! The music is a big part of what makes it awesome, so take a musical peek at A Courting Song, with vocals by Frank Fairfield, composed by Frank Fairfield and the The Blasting Company. Check out show creator Pat McHale’s commentary:

"While trying to ask for directions to the home of Adelaide of the Pasture, a friendly toymaker misunderstands Wirt's intentions and thinks he's planning to ask for Adelaide's hand in marriage! Before Wirt can explain, the Toymaker bursts into song. Frank Fairfield wrote this song with the composers (The Blasting Company). They actually wrote a few songs before landing on this one. I sure hope they write and release a full album of children's songs some day."
