That was really not worth the prizes, but surely a hell of a life experience. Gotta have a good lot material for a future thesis.

I guess the only time I would consider myself lucky amongst millions of people was when I once sent in a Nintendo Wii remote to Nintendo for repairs and they accidentally sent me a fully refurbished DS Lite console. I was in 10th grade at the time, so 14-yr-old me was completely nuts about it.

My family doesn't have a lot of money for video game consoles and the idea of just getting one (the Wii) and having my siblings and I share that one console was more appealing then buying each of us a console. Before anyone asks, yeah I had to get a flashcart if I wanted to actually play DS games on it. Again, just too poor.
