Watchmen - Watchmen - Adapting The Unadaptable

To be fair, I think the film has a great deal of merit on its own. I partly agree with the idea of supplementing with the source material, but the film should have its own legs, otherwise why bother making it? If you only make a film adaptation to highlight the source, wouldn't it make more sense just to go to the source instead? I hardly think the graphic novel needs any support either, it is extraordinary on its own, but I felt the film did well at accomplishing its own message.

TL;DR – Zach Snyder is a hack
