Is it just me, or is there a discrepancy between the view count shown to the public when viewing an image or video and the view count shown to an editor when on the screen for editing said image or video? Wait, no, don't answer that, there is a discrepancy, as I show in this video (and I could have shown more, but I didn't want to make the file several gigabytes in size). My questions are: Why does this discrepancy exist? Which view count is the real one? Why is one of them inflated or deflated? Can something be done to fix the issue?
