"Good Day, Gentlemen. I Am Here to Change the Future." is an alteration of a memorable quote uttered by the character Bowler Hat Guy in the 2007 animated Disney film Meet the Robinsons.

Origin

On March 23rd, 2007, Disney released the film Meet the Robinsons in the United States.^[1] In the film, the character Bowler Hat Guy greets a receptionist (portrayed by Stephen J. Anderson and Dara McGarry, respectively) and says, "Good day, madame. I'm here to change the future" (clip below).

On October 7th, 2019, Redditor^[6] Ravenclaw_14 reportedly posted the first known usage of the meme but deleted the image shortly after posting.

That day, Redditor^[7] shared the format, the earliest available usage of the meme with the subtitle "Good day, gentlemen. I am here to change the future," and the caption "Time travelers when they go to the past" (shown below). They titled the thread "Props to u/Ravenclaw_14 for format."
