Andreas became an Internet celebrity after his appearance on the TV show Frauentausch^[1] due to his rant concerning the opinions of his swapped wife. Due to the grammatical errors in the rant and several memorable quotes, it has often been parodied in videos and photoshopped images.

Frauentausch

The reality TV series Frauentausch is basically the German version of Wife Swap^[2]: Two different families swap wives or mothers (sometimes husbands) for ten days. Due to the differences between the lifestyles of the two families--for example a messy wife swapping with a fastidiously neat one--the series spawned several extraordinary and sometimes even hilarious scenes.

Background

On April 7th, 2011, the original 284th episode including the rant of Andreas was aired on the German television channel RTL II^[3]. The swapped wife was Andrea Keil from Wittstock, Brandenburg.
