DUG FACE or DUG FASHE or :U

The Dug Face was created after Youtuber Nintendo3DS tweeted this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXpBfRlLnv8&sns=fb with the voices being from South Park, a T.V. show, and Andrew Hussie made this Homestuck page http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=006044 , then two kids were all "oh man," a popular saying from Homestuck, and mixed them together and the Dug Face was born.

Although the ":U" emoticon originally appeared in grey in Homestuck most "Dug Faces" are of the "puke green" color, which can be made on Photoshop by using the numbers "86 160 102." When drawing it out it is usually spelled D:UG (backwards "G") FASHE, the reason for this however is unknown. Some do believe however this comes from ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs, but there is no proof of this theory.

There are some alternate forms of the "Dug Face" for example the "DUG MAN" ‎:U-]-<, the "Backwards DUG FACE" U:, and the "Crying DUG FACE" ;U. The reasoning for the "DUG FACE" however is to replace the Troll Face, as it can easily be typed by using the ":" then the capital "U"
