History

He was given this name after Hotel Mario's intro where Mario says "Nice of the princess to invite us over for a picnic, eh Luigi?" However, because of the letter "C" in the word "picnic", when Mario says "Hey" it sounds an awful lot like "gay".

Despite his hilarious nick name, he is never (?) seen doing gay things. He seems to have a mild liking towards "lotsa Spaghetti". He also has problems focusing, as whenever he zones out Mario tends to say "It's been one of those days… come on Luigi!" yet Luigi continues to act like a mindless idiot.
