Myanmar is back to military rule, to the surprise of no one. Aung San Suu Kyi never had any real power, but the fact that she never even tried to prevent the Rohingya genocide and even defended the military's actions makes me detest her. I hope her Nobel Peace Prize gets revoked, but also hope she makes it through this ok and the Burmese people can eventually kick de facto military control of the government to the curb.
