About
Ralph Pootawn (or simply Ralph) is a Second Life troll who likes to show up uninvited and watch when people are trying to have virtual sex. If this bit of creepiness wasn’t enough, Ralph’s avatar is in the form of a little green demon with a beer and a pipe. Needless to say, Ralph’s presence usually ends up derailing the sex, much to his enjoyment.
Propagation
Ralph and the screenshots of his adventures were allegedly first discovered on the site Luelinks, however 4chan’s /v/ board claims that they had first discovered Ralph. Regardless of where he was first discovered, Ralph and his exploits have garnered quite a following on 4chan and various other message boards.
On 4chan in particular, the phrases “Ralph pls go” and his trademark response “NO” have been superimposed over pictures of him and used as response image macros.Another variation of the meme is his either Ralph or his face being Photoshopped into other pictures in a fashion similar to Weegee.
