Stoner Comics are an MS Paint-style of web comics that use cannabis as a comedic plot device. The comics illustrate various commonly shared experiences or sensations while under the influence of marijuana, with each pane carrying more colors as the story progresses.
Presence On The Web
Stoner comics are popular in Reddit’s /trees subreddit community dedicated to marijuana enthusiasts.[1] There are several aggregators like StonerComics.net[2] and StonerComics.org[3], and Tumblr has several single topic stoner comic blogs as well.[4]
Widdly Scuds
While not the first, the “Widdly Scuds” comic has become a popular with stoners who have a bad case of the munchies. In online stoner-havens like 420chan and the popular /trees subreddit, the phrase “widdly scuds” is widely used and understood as the desperate but incoherent attempt at ordering fast food.
